FLOYD DePuy, 70, of Butterville Rd, New Paltz, died Sunday at home after a long illness. A native of Samsonville, son of Ananias and Louisa(Denton) DePuy. Mr DePuy operated his own farm until recently. Surviving are his wife, former Violet Quick; two sons, Donald of Rosendale and Robert of Gardiner; two daughters, Mrs Marion MacIntosh of Gardiner, and Mrs Gloria Kerrigan of New Paltz; three sisters, Mrs Ida Enderley of Accord; Mrs Ellen Hungerford of Wallkill, and Mrs Jen Dunn of Briarcliff; also seven grandchildren. VIOLET DePuy, 82 of Butterville Rd, New Paltz, died at Benedictine Hosp April 24, after a brief illness. She lived in New Paltz for 55 yrs and prior in the Kingston area. Born in Accord, Feb 13, 1894, she was the daughter of Uriah & Mary Quick and married Floyd DePuy who died July 12, 1959. Surviving are two sons: Ronald Depuy of Rosendale, Robert DePuy of High Falls; two daughters: Mrs Gloria Toboika of New Paltz, Mrs Marion McIntosh of Gardiner, brother, Stewart Quick of Yankee Lake, sister Mrs Mae DuMond of Wappingers Falls. 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
