Chrissie Graham (Bevier)

HIGHLAND - Chrissie Graham died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at the Hudson Valley Nursing Home. She was 85. A resident of New Paltz most of her life, she worked as a nanny for many years in many homes for various families. Born May 5, 1917 in Gardiner, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bevier. Survivors include two sons, Luther Johnson of Hyde Park and Donald Johnson of Harrisburg, Pa.; a sister, Emily Watson of New Paltz; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A sister Julia Wilson, and a brother, Louis Bevier, died previously. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Paltz Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are by Copeland Funeral Home, 162 S.
