Erected by DAVID JOHNSTON Farmer, Fulfordees, in memory of his wife, BARBARA HILL who died 26th August 1897 aged 48 years, the above DAVID JOHNSTON died at St. Cuthbert's, Cornhill on Tweed, 13th September 1918, aged 72 years; HELEN their second daughter died 16th October 1921 aged 33 years; JANE their third daughter died 11th of May 1963 aged 73 years; the ashes of MARGARET their eldest daughter wife of JOSEPH JACKSON died 13th December 1968 aged 86 years. In memory of DAVID JOHNSTON respected preceptor died 15th May 1984 aged 70; and his wife GRACE KELLY died 28th October 199_ aged 79 years.
