HUGH ORR
Dr. Youl held an inquest on Wednesday, at the Benevolent Asylum, on the body of Hugh Orr, aged 67 years. Deceased was an inmate suffering from paralysis, and on Tuesday last a piece of meat stuck in his throat and choked him. He had refused to eat mince meat. A postmortem examination by Mr. Smith, resident surgeon at the asylum, showed that death resulted from suffocation caused by the presence of meat in the larynx. Verdict accordingly.
