Description

Grizel Ker was the daughter of Sir Thomas Kerr of Cavers and Grizel Halket She married Patrick Hume 1st Earl of Marchmont son of Sir Patrick Hume 1st Bt. and Christian Hamilton on 29 January 1660. She died on 11 October 1703 at Edinburgh Midlothian Scotland From 29 January 1660 her married name became Hume As A. result of her marriage Grizel Ker was styled as Countess of Marchmont on 23 April 1697
