Darrell D Divil, 79, of Smithfield, Pa, died March 9, 2007, in his home with his wife by his side. He was born Nov 3, 1927, in Dilliner, Pa, son of Clarence Divil & Ethelyn Stoneking Divil. He was a veteran of the US Army (and) US Air Force serving during WWII. He was employed over 23 yrs as a machinist at the former Rockwell Intrntl in Uniontown, Pa, until his retirement.
A member of Oak Hill Baptist Church at Old Frame, Pa. Predeceased by his parents & sister, Shirley Kaufman.
Surviving are his wife of 50 yrs, Helen Duda Divil; daughter, Joyce Matty; grandson, John E Danko; two great-grandchildren: Jasmine Danko & McKayla Danko, their mother, Misty Danko; sister, Devonnah Jolly; and niece, Clarissa Eggers.
