Isaac signed Articles of Association at New Paltz and served as private in Capt. Abraham Deyo's 3rd Ulster Co. Troops. He and Rebecca went to Chenango or Broome County for a while but later returned to the Centerville section of New Paltz. Isaac built the stone house at Centerville.

Ulster County Surrogate: Will of Isaac DuBois of new Paltz dated 1-28-1823, probate 9-11-1824, names wife Rebecca, son Simon, son Henry, grandsons Isaac DuBois Coe and Isaac DuBois Latting, son Joseph, daughter Catharine, widow of Jonathan Ostrander and her son Isaac DuBois Ostrander, son Daniel left $1.00. Executors son Simon and wife Rebecca. witnesses: Charles G. DeWitt, J. P. Matthews, S. LeFever, Nehemiah Lounsbury.
