DAVENPORT - Funeral services for Ivory Junior Mhoon, Jr., 38, of Davenport, will be noon Friday at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, 1234 Ripley Street, Davenport. Bishop McArthur Anderson officiating. He departed this life on Monday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Orr's Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born April 19, 1971, in Davenport, the son of Ivory and Lillie (Burrage) Mhoon, Sr. Ivory spent many years employed as a youth counselor but recently enjoyed being a full-time father.

Survivors include his parents; his children, Linda Ashley Dawn, Mya Ren?e and Ivory Drew Michael Mhoon, and their mother, Heather Forrest, all of Rock Island. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jennifer Moeller, and their daughter, Grace April Rae Mhoon, both of Davenport; sisters, Andrea Lee Burrage, Davenport, and Loretta Mhoon, Rock Island; and grandparents, Iraine College, Davenport, and Ivory D. Mhoon, Sr., Sikeston, Mo.

A brother, Andrew Lee Mhoon, preceded him in death.
