JAMES J DuBois, a former resident of New Paltz, died March 14, at Scarsdale, NY. He was the son of Andrew and Harriet(Johnson) DuBois and a brother of the late Wilfred DuBois of DuBois & Gregory Pharmacy in New Paltz. Mr DuBois devoted much of his time to the raising and developing of a special strain of Rose Comb Brown Leghorn chickens and took many prizes at Madison Square Garden. He was superintendent of Islin Estate in New Rochelle for many years and had moved to Scarsdale a few years ago.Mr DuBois is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son. From New Paltz Independent March 19, 1942.
