JAMES 'SHORTY' FELDHAUS, 83, of Florence, died at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday at the Florence Park Care Center. He was a retired mechanic for Tasty Bread Co., a member of Union Baptist Church, Crescent Hill Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Carter Feldhaus; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be there from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Union. Memorials are suggested to Union Baptist Church.
Thelma Ruth Feldhaus, 91, of Louisville, formerly of Florence, died Sunday at Summerfield Manor, Louisville. She was a machine operator with Brown & Williamson Co. and a member of Union Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, James Marvin Feldhaus, died in 1992.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Union.
