One of the oldest and most respected residents of Linton, Mr James Young Clarke, passed away on Saturday, after a brief illness, at the age of 68 years. Mr Clarke came to Linton from the old land 28 years ago, and settled here, following the occupation of hair dresser and fancy goods dealer. His unassuming manners and cheery disposition made him a general favorite, and much regret has been expressed at his death.
