Hector Follette, a highly respected citizen of our village, died on Tuesday at his residence on Huguenot St. He had suffered much from rheumatism for a long time, but had so much improved that he was able to be out on the street about two weeks ago. About a week ago he had a stroke of paralysis, which resulted in death. Mr. Follette was engaged in business as a traveling salesman in the grocery line for Strait Brothers. He leaves a widow, one son, Rev. John Follette of Rochester, and two daughters, both of whom are married. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday. From New Paltz Independent Sept 3, 1915
