Description

Macedonia Cemetery was once located on Fort Jackson Property (on the firing range) Graves were moved. In some instances, the graves are marked by small signs such as this. No other information accompanies the burial. In some cases, charcoal was used to enhance the engravings on the tinplate before photographing.

Tinplates were replaced as found, even when found in a questionable location (as on a grave marked with stone for another individual, middle of drive, etc)
