Grace Arlene Goode-Jackson, 76, Davenport, died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at

Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial is in Pine

Hill Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials to the family.

Grace was born the daughter of LeRoy and Hester Goff in Batavia, Iowa, on

April 2, 1921. She married Melvin Goode June 13, 1935. She and Melvin had

seven children. He died Aug. 15, 1971. She married Roy Jackson June 21, 1989.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Patricia Ann Goode Broderson and

Betty Jane Goode-Pietzonka, sons, Melvin Jr., Wayne Charles and James Robert,

all of Davenport; a brother, Leonard, Fairfield; a sister, Helen Lewis,

Ottumwa; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four

great-great-grandchildren.
