Minister of this parish. A pious and consistent Christian esteemed for his private worth and public duties; having been seized with fatal illness while ministering on a communion sabbath. He died the third day thereafter... of his age and 17th of his ministry in this parish ... This memorial was erected by his widow and his attached friends in the parish.
