SPANISH FORT—A mass of Christian burial is planned Friday for Margaret Virginia O’Byrne Lyon. The 10 a.m. service will be held at Christ the King Catholic church in Daphne. Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery. Visitation is planned from 6 to 9 tonight at Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. The rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Ms. Lyon died Tuesday at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort. The Texas native was a longtime resident of Monroe, La. before moving to Baldwin County. She is survived by her husband, O.H. “Buddy” Lyon of Spanish Fort; a daughter, Paula Lyon Segal of Montrose; two sister, Jane O. Acker of Waco, Texas, and Polly O. Houston of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Christ the King building fund at P.O.
