Survived by her son and his father; her mother and father; two uncles; and numerous other family members. 

Preceded by her grandmother, Mary E. Larimore (buried next to her). 

Dawn was a homemaker and former supervisor with Sedgwick County Department of Corrections. She died from injuries sustained in a car wreck on Interstate 135 (I-135, the Canal Route).

Survived by two sons; one daughter; six grandchildren, including Dawn Helmer (died 2009, buried next to her); three great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law; one brother; one sister; one niece; one nephew; numerous other family and friends in the U. S. and Europe; her dog, Daisy; and two cats, Alice and Abby.

Preceded by her parents; one grandson, Shane Larimore; and ex-husband, Floyd Larimore.

Mary died after a long battle with cancer. She had worked as an interior decorator at both Sears and Montgomery Wards. She had also worked as a secretary for aircraft parts sales.
