His wife: Rachel Belle(Elting) Deyo (1845-1911)
Nathaniel Deyo died at his residence near Forest Glen. He was nearly 80 and had been in failing health for a long time. Mr Deyo leaves 3 sons, Fred, Jonathan and Andrew; also a daughter Mary. He was born in the house where his father Jonathan N and his grandfather Nathaniel resided, and which is now the home of his brother, Andrew LeFever Deyo. After marriage he always resided on the farm where he died. Mr Deyo's great grandfather Daniel Deyo when a young man, moved from this village about 1763 to a tract of 300 acres, purchased by his father Abm. Deyo. His house is still standing, near Ireland Corners. He was held in highest esteem by all & served as an officer in Reformed church of New Paltz.
