Richard M. Candelaria, 72, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 22, 1999. He is survived by his half-brother, Jose M. Candelaria and wife, Oralia from Lompoc, CA; his aunt, Aurelia P. Maes; and close cousin, Gloria Gonzales and husband, Willie and family of Albuquerque; another cousin, Tony Lucero of Seattle, WA; and a very dear friend, Jackie Chavez and children, Cassandra and Jessie and family; and many other friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by his brother, Cirilo McClure; and his parents. Richard worked for close to 30 years at the Dog House as a cook. he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 25, 1999 at Sacred Heart Church at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Tom Perez. Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jim Moore and Deacon Tom Perez. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Willie Gonzales, David Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, Eddie Perez, Felix Perez Jr. and Paul A. Chavez.
