11. THOMAS MORSE was born on 28 Nov 1800 in Gray, Cumberland, Maine, USA. He died on 16 Jan 1882 in Gray, Cumberland, Maine, USA. He married SALLY SAWYER on 17 May 1828, daughter of Moses Sawyer and Dolly Babson. She was born on 03 Mar 1803 in New Gloucester, Cumberland, Maine, USA. She died on 30 Jun 1862.

Notes for Thomas Morse:

Thomas was given the title of Captain. He has been referred to as Captain Thomas Morse and his head stone also says the same. I believe he may have been a captain in a local militia durring the Civil War or was alread on in the mandatory "home guard" militia that towns were required to have with drills and such
