Mrs Sarah Hood, widow of Jesse Hood, died at her home in Middletown on Tuesday morning. Mrs Hood was the daughter of Christopher LeFevre, whose family lived in this village many years. Her grandfather was Jacob LeFevre, who lived where Jacob Wurts now does. Mrs Hood leaves two sons, Peter M and EDM Hood, a daughter, Catherine. She leaves surviving two sisters.
