SAD AND FATAL ACCIDENT...

Selah T Gerow, only child of Dr S.W. Gerow, of this village, aged 14 years, lost his life by a very sad accident on Thursday last. The Dr's family had just moved into the house lately purchased of Mrs Maclaurey, and Selah had gone out for a minute or two on a little balcony projecting from the second story. By some accident he lost his balance and fell to the earth, striking on the hard ice. When picked up the base of his skull was fractured. He only breathed half an hour. A feeling of great sympathy is felt for the parents in this bereavement, which has fallen upon them so suddenly.
