In affectionate remembrance of HENRY WILLIAM CLARKE who died 27th March, 1878 in his 18th year.
Like the lily fair and green,
Soon cut down and no more seen,
Beloved he lived in peace he died,
His life was craved but God denied.
Also Dear little WALTER the beloved son of WALTER and ELIZA CLARKE who died 23rd. August 1887. Aged 2 years.
He was not loved by one alone, but all.
He was forced to go when God did call,
His life was short, but oh how sweet,
We hope in heaven with him to meet.
